  1. I'm not from Liverpool, I've supported the club my whole life because of the values of the club stands for and the people locally who support it.
I'm related to Lord North the PM of this country during the War with the America's. I Really hate my own families history, I am a very proud Socialist and believe everyone should be treated as equals in all aspects of life.
I totally support everyones right to speak openly about whatever they believe in and if that means booing the National Anthem, government, Royal Family, they should have that right. Free Speech is Free.
I Feel sick to my stomach when I hear the horrendous things still sung at the Liverpool supporters, most hurtful of all "Victims". We all know who that is aimed at.
God Bless you Liverpool and it's people, you are a special City with wonderful people who are kind, creative, welcoming and have the greatest sense of right and wrong, YNWA as long as I am alive.

  2. Booing Abide with me… this is a disgrace… shame on them. I'm a Christian and a Liverpool fan, I would never do that.

  3. Everyone has the right to boo, and I can understand the feelings towards the monarchy. But why boo Abide With Me? It’s such a poignant emotional hymn, also sang at funerals too. It’s even sang here in Australia every ANZAC day to commentate our fallen war heroes…I’m genuinely perplexed as to why anyone would jeer it ??‍♂️

  4. There is a disconnect between scousers and any honest hard working Brits.
English generally just hate the self pitying thieves.

  5. I'm from Salford but my dad is from Glasgow. . He's a Celtic man , I'm a United man . Glasgow is another city with the same irish story as liverpool. Growing up in Manchester I see the hatred towards scousers from friends and family but I've always had an affinity with scousers and I like the attitude and humour they have . If I say that to my United friends it doesn't go down well.

  6. Am I missing something here,? if people who live in Liverpool ie part of the United Kingdom are booing because they are pro Irish, why don't they f off back to Ireland then and boo from their favoured homeland.

  7. Tony Evans says people from Liverpool are despised and if they all argued like him that would be understandable. Fortunately I'm from Liverpool and I know we are not all like him.

  8. Never met a Scouser I didn't like and never had a bad time on Merseyside. A gem of a city with the most socially and politically literate of people. As a native of County Durham I take my hat off to you.

  9. We go to Liverpool roughly 4 times a year especially to the Royal Court Theatre for their hilarious plays. Some Liverpudlians seem to like to play the victim card. Perhaps they need to get over themselves, whatever you think of the past this is the here and now. Poverty, hunger famine Ireland etc etc stupid spiteful fool. Get another hobby!

  10. The decline of Liverpool started well before Maggie won the election in 1979. The unions were constantly going on strike and this resulted in less investment in Liverpool. In fact it was the Conservatives that set in motion for the regeneration of Liverpool.

  11. Yet Liverpool voted to Remain in the EU, and stay a part of the system which Tony (quite rightly) states 'hates them.'

The Working Class are a despised lot across the land, therefore why back the same people and class system which hates you so much?

I'm Working Class and I voted against the establishment and Governments of Wales and the United Kingdom who think that people who don't think as they do 'are morally repugnant N*zi's'.

If Liverpool hate the UK and the system that much, why not do what Scotland, Wales and Cornwall are doing and get a Secessionist Movement Party formed? I think that would scare the Government in Westminster if nothing else.

  12. outsiders don't have a clue about Liverpool and get it all wrong. the only way to find out about a city is to visit it and see for yourself. Fact

  13. As a staunch republican, I booed God Save the Queen on Sunday at Wembley too. The English need a better a national anthem.

  14. I live in Walton Liverpool and this goon does not represent my city, my grandad worked in the docks and none of us would consider booing the national anthem, abide with me or the royal family! Republicans what more do you expect

  15. Self pity city.

They have an excuse for every shameful act, it's always someone else's fault. They don't think they're liked and they're not wrong.

  16. What ever you think of your government you have to realise they are only a very very tiny bit of the United Kingdom. The Great British people are the national anthem. What ever background you are from. Booing the national anthem is disrespecting to the fantastic people of the UK.

  17. Top club,top people,rather like the Catholics in Glasgow,(lm a Celtic supporter),Keep doing it lads,every time YNWA

  18. As a South African having lived through apartheid I fully relate to these prejudices. It's the same establishment that came to South Africa and divided the country on racial grounds. Along with the Dutch of course. So I fully understand the psyche of the marginalized and impoverished who oppose such establishments. Glad to be fan of Liverpool FC. It's more than just a football club.

  19. Really enjoy watching Liverpool since Klopp arrived but any fan booing the National Anthem is embarrassing Daren't think what their grandparents would think having lived through the war years.

  20. I never had a problem with scousers until I heard that booing and why they did it. Lost any respect I had ??

  21. if you have never visited Liverpool please don't comment you will just make yourself look foolish! imagine commenting on something you don't have a clue about

  22. Fantastic City and people. I am a Southerner (London), lived in Vauxhall and Garston in the early (Thatcher) 1980's, was there for the riots, the redundancies, strikes and the football. Even in adversity, and that time had it all, the resilience and humour always came through. And, by the way, I am an anthem booing Southerner – there are lots of us!!!

  23. Love to Liverpool and the scousers the most socially awake people in england.unlike the rest of the english

  24. That football club isn't Scouse.
Everton always have been and always will be the real Liverpool team.
There is something about Liverpool FC & it's fan that borders on disturbing – especially the rockets in Ireland whom follow that club.
    The insane, faux fanaticism.
    Not normal.
    NSNO! ☘️??

  25. Speaking as a Glaswegian and a Celtic supporter I can totally relate to Tony, If you need lessons on booing the national anthem come to Celtic park. The only football cub in the UK that does not fly the butchers apron. YNWA.

  26. They want to be scouse not English but take the money from us English so fu. K of to Scotland r Sol s

  27. the harry enfield character loadsa money was inspired by chelsea fans waving wads of cash at liverpool supporters during the match
