  1. I find it almost disrespectful comparing Klopps teams to the 70s and 80s teams. Between 1973 to 1984 Liverpool finished outside the top 2 once winning the title 8 Times and 4 European cups. Plus I would also say the 87/88 team is still the best team to watch ever Barnes, Beardsley, Aldridge fantastic team.

  2. Liverpool’s next trophy will be their 50th major honour.
Personally I would like it to be another Premier League title, but a seventh European Cup would be so very special too.

  3. Thank you for videos like this. I became a Liverpool fan when Istanbul happened (the sport wasn't nearly as broadcast back then in America), so I'm still working on learning the history of the club. Getting to see highlights from matches like this is remarkable and shows how truly special the teams (and club) were. Brilliant stuff!

  4. Love the sound of the crowd and connector up the first 2 games. They feel like games in another planet. The fuzzy sound makes it so much better.it is the bit time little a the better
Dudek was amazing in that Istanbul game.

  5. No-one on planet Earth outside of a small corner of North London ever really believed Tottenham Hotspur would beat Liverpool in a Champions League final! Not after Liverpool had lost previous year thanks to calamitous goalkeeping against Real Madrid, and after epic semi final comeback again against Barcelona! Spurs never had a real chance, especially when they played Half fit Ego over team Kane, instead of semi final two goa hero on fire Lucas Moura! Worst Manergerial decision in favour of star player ever by Pochettino! Brian Clough must have rolled over his grave! ?

  6. For the Purists, when you only got to play a team picked out at random home and away! And only the Champions of each Country made it in the draw. None of this Champions League bullshit that benefits the elite clubs who get a second chances after the group stage! As an Aston Villa fan who became European Champions in 1982, even I know that that will never happen ever again! We won because it was home and away knock out, and we could beat anyone on our day. Although, I still don't know how we beat Bayern Munich, we had one attack and scored off the post! Destiny!!! If Peter Withe had connected with ball properly keeper would have saved it, but it sliced off his foot and just squeezed into the gap between his fingers and in off the post. Prayers answered! The Mighty Villa! 1982 Legends Forever.??✌️??
