Even better than the goal was how Harvey was going full throttle right from the start. It's what you want to see from a young player in a big team, and what you want to see from someone just come back from a long-term injury.

Klopp showed his class today, normally after season breaks Liverpool are a bit rusty in their first game. His team selection today was excellent he gave his first team players just the right amount of time to shake off the rest and get back in match form hence next league match they will be cracking again.

Elliott had a strong start to the season and the Salah/Elliott/TAA rotation on the right looked potentially amazing. To be fair to FSG, Elliott was a big "signing" in the last summer in an area the squad needed strengthening. And I would bet that Liverpool would be 2-3 point higher in PL table if only Elliott stayed healthy.

I've never been happier to see a man getting stamped on. An impact injury on diaz did not cause as much long term damage to him as a twisted knee might have done.
