Blood Red Podcast: Liverpool sweep aside Brentford ahead of Arsenal | Rafa Benitez sacked

Liverpool beat Brentford at Anfield on Sunday thanks to goals from Fabinho, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Takumi Minamino.

Host Matt Addison is joined by Ian Doyle, Joe Rimmer and Theo Squires to discuss the importance of that result ahead of the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg with Arsenal on Thursday.

The panel pick their teams for the game and make their score predictions, while there is also a word for Rafa Benitez, who was sacked as manager of Everton over the weekend after just a few months in charge at Goodison Park.

  1. I'm always glad to hear the football analysis on Liverpool fc and the English Premier League. At the moment, I agree with Joe Rimmer and Theo on our midfield situation. We really need new players to fill in that position. Also, I agree with Theo on Doyle on destroying Premier League teams such Everton, Burnely and how you have destroyed them in your analysis. Hence, Theo Squires shed more light on how things are at the moment. Everton are in the mess and dreadful in how they are managed.
