  1. High time LFC started 3-4-3 formation with Trent as midfielder, cause he is better at attacking than defending, and LFC need 3 at the back playing that high line and nowadays losing the ball so often in midfield and conceding goals on counterattacks.

  2. I guess Liverpool fans wont be happy until we’re taken over by an oil company. Go support City or Utd or Newcastle then because it’s not now and never has been the Liverpool way. Agreed we will struggle in January when we lose our players to Afcon but don’t blame this result on squad depth when it was clearly down to tactics. Fans are using FSG as a scapegoat when in truth it’s Klopp who’s deciding not to spend.

  3. Failed investment year upon year, Klopp trying to complete with a shoestring budget. If FSG cannot complete then sell up and fuck off, fed up seeing the old mug John Henry walking around like he’s the bollocks. Klopp managed somehow to win us the cl & pl , god knows how but he did it. Without investment he’s going to struggle again. When he does leave it’ll be the end of this ride.

  4. FSG did not capitalise when we was in a position of strength and now we playing catch up, why couldn’t we brought Rhodri, Cancelo, they are affordable price. Maych Chelsea was expected to challenge for the title they are champions of Europe and brought Lukaku to compete for the league all 3 of us was expected to compete there was only 3 outcomes for today Chelsea win, Liverpool win & City win

  5. Less and less people backing up (stupidly and blindly) FSG. This is no surprise to people who've seen the lack of investment in the squad in areas that needed it.

Will look back at this team as a team that should've won more… and that's sad.

  6. be hilarious if paul machin and redmen tv mock the fans again laugh at them on twitter and ask them if they need a hug for wanting realistic signings while also feeling like a superior fan by backing the pathetic owners when we are so obviously not able to compete with city in the league you'll be known as the deluded fools that are holding this club back along with fsg if you try and laugh at the fans again who are right that liverpool need signings to compete with the deepest squad in terms of quality the league has ever had

  7. I’m just gonna state the obvious but with this 11 point lead I feel with what’s coming for us it’s to far to believe we can catch them , we have Mane & Salah going to AFCON and even if their respective countries go out of that comp early the will have to go through some form of Quarantine or recovery from the travelling all time off the pitch we can’t afford . If they progress as they well may will do it’s longer . We have no real quality on the bench that is close to these two men we could well be cut so far adrift . So my critique goes back to Aug and not enough done in the transfer window by a huge team who had won the CL & League so recently in our history FSG just don’t seem to get it yes yes I hear Ground expansions etc but they all pay for themselves eventually more bums on seats = £. I’m really questioning our ambition or our owners idea of what ambition is ? Is it contentment just being in the prem league with any bonus being top four. We bought VVD Robbo Salah Fabinho we won the above trophies.

  8. Look supporters for both these clubs, there's still over 20 games to go, another 60 points or more. The question is who can stop City, in their tracks. As if City loose 2 or 3 games and draws it all back on. But the question is who can stop City, or slow them down?

  9. Having 42pts after 20 games is actually very decent. Unfortunately LP are competing against an ffp cheating petro country which has a bench full of £50m players, nevermind the cash they spent on the 1st team. That's the problem, not Klopp. Sadly the PL has turned into flootball clubs vs a country.

  10. Henderson was poor in midfield as well as a captain, every time Chelsea players circulate the ref van Dyke and Milner were the only ones who were defending their team mates, Hendo was nowhere to be seen.

  11. I don't think we are near winning a title with that midfield… I am even worried Salah might want to leave if we don't strengthen our midfield..we need ATM like Nabil Fakir

  12. Hi Jurgen,
just wanted to let you know I'm available to play as a forward on Thursday against Arsenal.
My qualifications: not injured, don't have Covid, not going to AFCON.

No but seriously, at this point the front 3 options are either Jones/Ox/Neco out of position, exhausted Jota, half-fit Minamino, or literal children like Gordon and Musiałowski

  13. Well done klopp for breaking fans hearts, picking that midfield milner too old for a big game like this n Henderson utter garbage always has been, thanks klopp well played

  14. Milner And hendo today smh , we lost that game from The midfield side of things. And Its a bit concerning because thiago who we Can win with is injured all The bloody time. Dont know what The answer is…….buy or keep faith in The kids or keita or thiago ?

  15. I dont mind the high defensive line to start games but for gods sake when we are 2 goals in front why keep the high line, especially when its such an important game to win.. We didn't need goal difference, we just needed a win.. I just don't understand keeping the high line after 2 nil up..

  16. Disappointed to draw after leading 2 goals but it's a fair results in the end for both top 3 teams challenging each other with the equal problem that they faced. Both teams and their fans need to stop focusing on title chase because that isn't relevant in the context of what happened with almost every clubs, i.e. injuries and Covid. Everyone especially the pundits keep talking about Chelsea and Liverpool chasing City for the title. It's a narrative played by the media. Imagine if all these 3 teams close to each other at the top in terms of point (50+) and leaving all other 17 teams below 40 points. That would make EPL a joke having 3 big clubs keep winnings while others suffers from injuries/Covid situation. It shows that while you are a big club, you still cannot run away from facing the same problem face by average clubs down the table. It's balance. What happened to City is very exceptional because they have huge squad and being very lucky without injuries/Covid cases. They also earn narrow wins last couple of matches but not without luck and bad refereeing. Not making any excuse here but it is what it is. The points tally as to date (exclude City) gives true representation after half season. Season still long with many other competition still to play for.

  17. The facts are man City have a shite load of money. We can't blame our owners. They have made us believe again. Accept that or not, that's the truth. They brought in Klopp. They made good decisions.

  18. The most demoralising thing for Salah will be all these important goals he's scoring aren't winning us games! He's scores a worldie and we concede utter shite goals the majority of the time. We have no control over games at all it's shambolic honestly. Back to year one and two of Klopp, playing like headless chickens but with better players

  19. Cant wait to see how Redmen TV will excuse FSG yet again this January.
You just know its coming, and theses shills who are paid by the club , will continue to lie to the fan-base in 2022 , and Redmen will bank a small fortune again so long as they do whatever their paymasters FSG tells them what to say on Media Tv……
People need to wake up and realise that they are shills who are on the same page as our Owners, and FSG will use them again this January to promote propaganda as a means not to spend again.

  20. Man, Keita and Mane are the most frustrating players at Liverpool I've seen for a long time. Midfield is also too one dimensional, FSG needs to put the money on the table or this team will just keep declining into a team struggling with top 4 like spurs or arsenal

  21. We used to boss the midfield, but now our midfield is the one who got bossed. Letting Gini off is one of the greatest mistake this season which is now coming back to bite our arses. Trying to scrimp on a few quid for a very underated hero like Gini was a very deplorable move. Let's try to rebuild the midfield and focus on UCL and finish top 4.

  22. This window needs to be about building depth in midfield. Pressure off, go for at least runners up, win the cups and hope City drop points

  23. I'm getting well and truly sick of the doom and gloom merchants, people chatting like the league is over, yet if we were this far ahead, many would be worrying about throwing the lead. Are city favourites? yep, are they in a very good position? Yep, if someone puts a gun to my head and asks me to predict who's title it will be ?….would I say City? Yep but its not over yet

Also were Chelsea really the better team? they drew 2-2 at home and created the same amount of shots on target and had only 5% more possession…at home. Funny how when we draw at home its a failure, when Chelsea do it against us…they were apparently brilliant? nah they were good in the 2nd half, but over the course of the game…2-2 was a fair result, and a better result for us than them.

Could our squad be stronger? yep, could we have won that game? yep, should we have won that game? probably. Im not watching the rest of the year expecting bottling of this and that. I will watch it expecting us to fight until the end and if its not enough, its not enough
