Dog Photos Free and For Sale For Lovers of Dogs

The web is full of dogs – in pictures as dog photos, dog paintings, dog cartoons and descriptions of encounters with dogs. So pictures of man’s best friend are really popular. Unfortunately many dog pictures, especially many dog photos, are of bad quality, because they are produced by dog lovers and not by experienced dog photographers. This is especially the case with dog photos free for use by everybody. Read on to better your dog photos.

In reality dog photos of really good quality are in high demand. It might be after cute puppy photos, dog breed photos or of photos of all the different situations a dog is experiencing through its life.

Likewise photos of dogs together with their people and owners are needed for many occasions. Here the demand of quality concerning the picture does also include the person or persons together with the dog. This is really a challenge for the dog photographer as well as for the amateur dog photographer with a background of being a dog lover.

Dog photos for sale should really be up to the standard of being a kind of professional quality – and that will normally be the case.

There are a few tips to bring forward from the professional dog photographer to the dog lover who want to take much better dog photos.

Tips for better dog photos for lovers of dogs

1. Strange enough the background of the dog to photograph is extremely important and an element that is often neglected by the less experienced dog-photographer. Indoor avoid furniture in the background unless it is a part of the idea. Outdoor go for a rather plain uniform background. A simple background will help the dog to stand out as the main object to enjoy in the picture. A blurred background will often be best.

2. Make sure the eyes of the dog will be sharp and brilliant in the photo. As human beings we will always take contact to another individual by looking at the eyes, even we shouldn’t be starring in the eyes of a dog.

The view of the dog will be much enhanced if there is ‘eye shine’ – that is a reflection of the sun or light (flash) in the eyes of the dog.

3. To see the tongue of the dog in the picture will add two positive things to the dog photo: The view of the tongue will add some warm red colour to an otherwise rather dull colour of the dog (in most cases) and the tongue will add some feeling of action and life to the total picture.

By adapting these three tips for better dog photography any dog lover should be able to get much better pictures of dogs, whatever it is your own dog or it is dogs around you.

Married Life: American and Japanese (Watch Your Language)

Good communication is an invaluable tool found in every successful leader's arsenal of capabilities. It is also a corner-stone in every successful marriage. As a couple grows with each other both physically and emotionally, so does their ability to communicate their needs and their ability to create real conflict resolution.

The trouble arises when you and your spouse don't fully understand one another. This may seem odd to some and I can imagine that others are entirely perplexed. How and why would you marry someone you can't speak to? Although I'm sure that does happen, what I mean is that many foreigners are capable of speaking English well but are often confused by slang or very casual English.

Due to the fact that the English language is a living and breathing thing, so to speak, it evolves and transforms with every new generation. It is difficult enough for native English speakers to follow the new slang and terms, it seems a little unfair to ask someone who is learning to also retain the slang and text short cuts such as lol, tbh, btw, FYI, idk, etc. ..

Practice Patience! Sometimes you are going to have to spell it out or rephrase your sentence. At the beginning of my marriage my husband and I would have arguments over some very simple communication errors.

I will offer two short phrases Americans use often but we don't really think about the weight of their perceived meaning.

"I don't care" When Americans use this phrase in a passive tone it is to vocalize a general indifference or it used as another way to say "I don't mind" "you can do that".

Unfortunately to foreigners (particularly those coming from less casual cultures such as Japan) this phrase seems to be suggesting that the American does not care about something they deem to be important and is therefore being rude.

I am mentioning this particular phrase because is sparked a three year fight between my mother and my husband. The Japanese have many demons and stories based around grudges because I personally believe the Japanese can hold grudges like no one else.

A similar phrase "That doesn't matter" or any variation in American culture is often used as a way to comfort someone who is upset over something that may seem insignificant to most. For example if someone is upset over a low test score their friends may try to help by saying one test doesn't really matter. This is akin to "don't sweat the small stuff", "no use crying over spilt milk" or "what done is done" … etc …

Again to some foreigners may take these phases as more of an insult than an attempt to console them. Many Japanese men (in particular) tend to over analyze what Americans would consider to be minor problems. They frequently worry over all the small details of life and can be put on the defense if they feel someone close to them (their partner) is belittling their concerns.

What should you do if you and your partner are already arguing?

I have found that asking my husband a series of questions as calmly as I can often helps me figure out where the misunderstanding is deriving from. Most often either he or I simply misunderstood the meaning. Other times we realize we have yet another cultural barrier to over come.

Some Feasible Options for Stansted Airport Transfer

Stansted Airport, which is located roughly 48km towards the northeast of Central London, is a hub of low-cost European carriers. In terms of passenger traffic, it is the fourth busiest airport in UK after Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester. The good thing about Stansted Airport is that it is extremely well-connected with Central London by means of several modes of transports. Let’s take a look at some popular airport transfer modes.

Car- Unlike Gatwick Airport, where parking is a costly proposition, Stansted Airport has several cheap parking lots in its vicinity. You can choose anyone of them to park your car safely. If you have to catch a crack-of-dawn flight, the most feasible option for you will be book a reasonably priced airport hotel. A majority of overnight hotels offer exciting parking packages that can help you to save a lot of money.

Taxi- Taxi is the most convenient way to get to London Stansted. There are more than 500 companies providing first-rate taxi services at Stansted Airport. For a standard taxi, you will have to spend anything between £80 and £100. It will take approximately one hour to reach Central London, depending upon the traffic condition and the time of the day. At a slightly higher price, chauffeur-driven luxury taxis are also available. They are typically equipped with facilities as air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, Sat Nav, snacks, water, magazines and newspaper. You can book these taxis either by phone or by internet. If you have not been able to book the taxi in advance, don’t worry as it is possible to arrange for one at an appropriate desk at the International Arrivals Hall of the airport. Upon booking the taxi, the company will provide you the phone number of the driver. Use the number frequently to keep the parking charges to a minimum.

Bus- Terravision, Stansted Bus and easy bus are three major bus services that operate between London Stansted and Victoria Station and Liverpool Street Station. If you have time in hand, opt for easy bus. For as low as £2, you can reach Stansted Airport from Victoria Station. Terravision shuttle bus service is slightly expensive, but the time taken to reach the airport is lesser. The journey between Victoria and Stansted is completed in 75-minutes. However, the cost of the journey is £9.

Train- Beneath the terminal building of the airport, there is a station that is served by Stansted Express. Depending upon the time of the day, it runs every 15 to 30 minutes. In addition to Stansted Express, the station is served by other trains originating from Liverpool Station and the Midlands. If you book your train ticket in advance, you can save as much as 43 percent. This makes the train the cheapest mode of transportation.

FC Barcelona Players – Alexander Hleb

Alexander Hleb is, of course, well-known amongst UK football followers because of his time at Arsenal, during which time Sky pundit Andy Gray described him as one of the Premier league's 'most skillful players'. Born in Minsk in Belarus in 1981, Hleb, whose brother is also an international footballer, initially made his name in the Bundesliga with FC Stuttgart, whom he joined from his first club, FC Bate Borisov, at the age of nineteen, with whom he had just won the Belarus national league. Arsenal were signing a player who had already made 172 first team appearances for Stuttgart, scoring 19 goals in total.

By the time Hleb joined Arsenal in 2005 he had already been voted Belarusian player of the year three times – he has added two more awards since then – and he became respected at Arsenal because of his versatility, energy and ability to fit into the team's smooth passing style of play. In his first season in North London, Hleb started 40 league games and scored 3 goals – figures that he repeated the following season.

It was during season 2007/08 that rumors started to link Hleb with a move to Barcelona; stories that gathered momentum after a particularly impressive performance against AC Milan in the Champions' League. The 'will he, won't he' saga kept the press occupied until July when the player signed for Barca in a deal reported to be worth about £ 11.8 million. During his time at Arsenal, Hleb made a total of 130 appearances, scoring 11 goals.

Alexander Hleb hardly made the most promising start to his career with his new club – picking up a series of injuries during pre-season which disrupted his progress considerably. Towards the end of the year, however, he was beginning to become a regular in the squad and to show signs of being able to integrate with the nimble, quick passing midfielders already at the club.

Internationally, Hleb made his debut appearance as a substitute in a defeat against Wales in 2001. His full debut followed, along with his first international goal, against Hungary the following April and he has been a regular in the team since then – captaining the side since August, 2007.

It is easy to see why Barcelona signed Alexander Hleb; he fits into their mold of being skillful, adaptable and pacy – with the ability to chip in with the occasional goal and, overall, an acute positional sense and an awareness of the runs of forward players. He should make a valuable addition to the squad – and his wife certainly should make an impact on the local media; in August, 2008 Alexander married Anastasia, a Topless singer. To be precise, Anastasia Kosenkova was a member of the Belarusian girl band, Topless.

A Simple Introduction To Fantasy Football

As the name indicates, fantasy football is a game where participants build up an imaginary team of real football players. Points are scored or deducted according to the performance of the players on the field. Points are usually awarded when any of the following things happen: a player plays in a match, scores a goal, assists in a goal through a pass or touch which led to the goal, saves a penalty, a goalkeeper saves 3 shots or more.

Points are also deducted from a team's score if any of the following happens: a player receives a yellow or red card, misses a penalty kick, scores own goal, a goalkeeper concedes a goal, etc.

The number of points awarded for scoring a goal may be higher than the points awarded for assisting in a goal. Likewise, the number of points deducted for a bigger offense would be higher than the points deducted for a minor offense and so on. How many points are to be awarded or deducted are decided in advance before the game begins.

Most of the fantasy football leagues will ask participants to select a team of eleven players within a specified budget range. You are not allowed to exceed the budget range. Typically you need to select a balanced team consisting of 1 goalkeeper, 4 defenders, 3 to 4 midfielders and a couple of forwards. Some of the fantasy football leagues also have other restrictions like you can only selected a limited number of players per club.

Many people love playing fantasy football. This is because a regular football fan who watches different teams play in premier league would love the idea of owning one of the teams. Fantasy football gives people the opportunity to own a team of handpicked real life footballers. Is it any wonder then that some people are absolutely hooked on to this game? If you want to get started then head over to a popular fantasy football website and join a league. You can find dozens of them by doing a simple search online. Registration is usually free at most of these sites.

Once you join the league, the next step is to pick a name for your team. The name should be catchy and attractive. It also has to be unique. You cannot select a name which has already been selected by someone else for their team. You should also familiarize yourself with the league's scoring system. Each website may have its own set of rules and points system which may differ from others.

Landlords, Do You Know the Importance of Keeping Your Property Safe?

With the winter season well underway, domestic gas and electricity usage is on the up – and it’s your job to ensure that your property and tenants are as safe as possible by checking all the electrical and gas appliances in use.

Hiring a fully qualified, registered professional to tackle any gas and electrical jobs, whether large or small, is of the utmost importance.

A good lettings agent should be able to organise electrical tests and gas safety checks for you, whether in house or by recommending trusted contractors.

Electricity

You’re legally obliged to ensure that all electrical items and household appliances supplied as part of your property letting are safe. Look out for:

  • Badly frayed or damaged insulation
  • Old or exposed wire
  • Poorly fitted or cracked plugs
  • Scorch-marked or damaged sockets
  • Plugs without sleeved, insulated pins

Be sure to repair or replace any equipment or appliances that are past their best with new equipment that meets current BS and EC standards.

If you have a property requiring a house of Multiple Occupation License from the Local Authority, by law you will need to provide confirmation of electrical safety. But it will give you and your tenants real peace of mind if you arrange for on-going checks anyway. A qualified electrical engineer should test every appliance and help you to keep a log of:

  • Item make and serial number
  • Item condition
  • Dates of Portable Appliance (PAT) test

Remember, some insurance companies won’t pay out if untested electrical items cause damage.

Gas

Any gas appliances and systems can pose a great risk if they are not fitted and maintained properly.

As a landlord, you are legally obliged to comply with the Gas Safety Regulations 1994 for any equipment that uses mains or liquid gas in your rented property.

Carbon Monoxide poisoning is a real danger that can cause severe illness and even death. Carbon Monoxide is a colourless and odourless gas, so you and your tenants may not even be aware of its presence until it’s too late.

And any kind of gas leak can have catastrophic consequences, from gas poisoning to risk of fire.

A fully qualified GasSafe engineer should carry out an annual full check at any properties that you rent out.

It is important to be aware that a standard annual service offered by many tradespeople does not comply with the legal regulations for landlords and may leave your tenants and property at risk – so be sure that your engineer is GasSafe registered.

To comply with the regulations you must:

  • Hire a GasSafe registered engineer who is qualified to work on the particular appliances and systems in your property
  • Ensure a full gas safety check is completed both prior to a let and every year thereafter
  • Ensure all gas fittings and flues are maintained safely at all times
  • Repair or replace any defective gas appliances or pipework as soon as possible, ensuring any damaged items are not used until made safe
  • When all checks have been completed, you must:
  • Give a copy of the gas safety check certificate to your tenants

History of Middlesbrough Football Club

Middlesbrough Football Club was originally founded in the late 19th century. The club had varying degrees of success but it wasn’t until the times prior to the 2nd World War that the team was in good enough shape to challenge for the major trophies. This team graced by the likes of England internationals like George Hardwick and Wilf Mannion although never winning a trophy, was said to have been capable of going on to win the league had it not been for the outbreak of the war.

It wasn’t until the 70’s arrived that the club had any degree of major success again. This team, containing the likes of David Armstrong and Greame Souness coached by the great Jack Charlton formally a Word Cup winner with England had been the best seen for a while. The promotions seen over this period although impressive produced no trophies to behold.

Into the 80’s the club almost went into liquidation, and if it wasn’t for the financial assistance of a consortium lead by the now chairman and successful businessman Steve Gibson then the club might has disappeared. A boost to the re-emergence of the club in 1986 was funds appreciated by the sale of a number of talented youngsters who had come through the youth system, including but not limited to Gary Pallister and Colin Cooper.

In successive years after the take-over ‘Boro’ as they are affectionately know by their fans cemented themselves as a side good enough to get out of the 2nd tier league but not quite good enough to stay in the top league for very long. An example of this yo-yoing nature being the inclusion of Boro in the very 1st year of the ‘Premier League’ but relegation the year after.

In 1994 Boro attracted probably their highest profiled manager to date in the shape of former England and Manchester United captain Brian Robson. Using the crutch of the squad left to him by his predecessor Lennie Lawrence swell as some good decent professionals like Nigel Pearson and Steve Vickers, who had been brought in, he took the team back into the Premiership. A new season in the top league and the moving into a brand new 30,000 all seater stadium saw a new sense of belief and optimism around the town. This sense of belief was backed with funds and with the captures of the likes of then England international Nick Barmby and the magnificent Brazilian international Juninho the club had one of the best teams in a long time. Boro were to retain their premiership status in the years following, and with the captures of the likes of Champions League winner Fabrizio Ravinelli and the Brazilian powerhouse Emerson football fever was taking over the town. Riding this support the team went on magnificent runs in both the League and FA Cup. Disastrously heartache would soon follow though and Boro fell at the final hurdle in both cups and as if to add insult injury a deduction of 3 points for failing to turn a team out against Blackburn saw the club relegated back to the 2nd tier.

Although the relegation would see the team lose Juninho and Emerson, they were able to capture the high profile Paul Merson and with hope still high the club was dominant in both the League and League Cup seeing them win promotion straight back into the top league and reach the final of the League Cup. The successive season would see boro retain their premiership status but seasons after saw results getting progressively worse culminating in the decision by the board to bring in the experienced former England coach Terry Venables to work alongside Robson. The decision bore fruit and the club was to avoid relegation. Support for the club was dwindling though and change was wanted. The upshot of this being the reluctant sacking of Robson and the bringing in of the then Manchester United assistant manager Steve Mclaren.

Mclaren would bring solidarity to a haphazard team with his strong work ethic and love of professionalism. The football was boring to watch but the team was never to look like relegation material. With this new professionalism and continued financial backing the club would cement their position in the top league, putting behind it the yo-yoing years. Another cup final soon followed and this time Boro were the victors leaving with their first ever major trophy in the shape of the League Cup. This victory would see Boro’s first ever qualification for Europe. The following season would see Boro qualify again for Europe with their best ever Premiership position. The season following this would see Boro push all the way to the EUFA Cup Final, making McClaren the most successful manager in the club’s history.

McClaren though, on the back on his triumphs has recently left the club for the dizzy heights of coaching England. The club has now a great set of players, a great setup, as well as top class youth and reserve teams. With this and recent successes, and the likelihood of continued financial backing, a new manager with worthy credentials I would have thought is only around the corner. And whatever future this brings for the lowly north east football club is yet to be written.

How I Make Money by Gambling Smartly

There may be no such concept as a "sure thing" when it comes to gambling but there are a few bets which com pretty close.

Before I explain what I mean above, I want to make sure you are aware of two things. Firstly, be aware that the vast majority of people who set foot in a betting shop do not really want to win money. Yes, they'd like to win money but they don't really, really want it. If they desired to win money with all their heart they wouldn't be in a betting shop to start with, they'd be at home gaming online. Instead of mucking about with Lucky 15s and Yankees they'd be minimising their risk as much as possible.

Secondly, people in the UK don't really understand odds. We look at the lottery and feel fine about flushing pounds down the toilet in the vain hope of hitting the jackpot but would never consider risking £ 100 to win £ 1 on Manchester United winning when they are already two-nil up against Sunderland at home in the Premiership – and it's in the 85th minute!

In the second situation here I hint towards the secret of my success in the world of gambling. Like the stock market, the first rule of gambling is "never lose". This means betting in-running on an almost certain situation. This is certainly not for everyone and takes a complete mindshift. Take Saturday 27th September 2008. I backed 5 goals or less between Manchester United and Bolton when it was nil-nil well into the second half, and the same for Chelsea against Stoke. There was really no point when my money was in danger whatsoever. I made a 3% return on my money and it was only on risk for all of about about 25 minutes. It would only take about 20 sessions such as this for me to double my money. In fact I've managed to take a £ 10 starting bank to over £ 1000 on three occasions now.

To conclude, if you want to make money through gambling it is necessary to pack in the seven horse accumulators and start thinking smartly.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – On the Sunny Side of the Street

Never in Manchester United history was so much owed by so many to so few as when substitutes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Teddy Sheringham in tandem together wrote soccer poetry with their feet in the Champions League final versus Bayern Munich in 1999. Indeed, the match against the German club was to become the pinnacle of Solskjaer’s long and illustrious footballing career.

Born in the small town of Kristiansund on February 26th 1973, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer began his playing career with local club Clausenengen. Even though the Manchester United faithful hardly raised an eyebrow when he arrived in Manchester in 1996, it did not take long for the supporters to realise the club had unearthed a real find. A no-nonsense performer with a powerful work ethic, his drive and determination inspired his Old Trafford team-mates and put fear into opponents. Scoring several crucial goals for Manchester United during the 1996/97 campaign, Solskjaer finished as the club’s top scorer with 18 League goals in his very first season at The Theatre of Dreams.

Although the Norwegian striker had his soccer career cut short by injuries in 2007, he stayed with the Old Trafford club and eventually took over the reigns of the Manchester United Reserves the following year. As for the international stage, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made his first appearance for Norway in a friendly against Jamaica in Kingston on 26 November 1995, and went on to collect a total of 67 senior caps for his native country. In honour of the loyal Manchester United stalwart, a fully deserved testimonial game was staged against Espanyol in front of an incredible 68,000 crowd at Old Trafford in August 2008.

After finding the back of the net on his Manchester United debut at home to Blackburn Rovers in August 1996, the Norway international proceeded to make a total of 366 outings for the Manchester Reds, scoring 126 goals. Indisputably, the highlight of Solskjaer’s footballing life came in the 1999 UEFA Champions League Final when he netted the winning goal against Bayern Munich in the last minute of the match, winning the coveted Treble for Manchester United.

In retrospect, the prodigious Norseman was no doubt one of the most significant footballing servants ever to pull on the famous red shirt in Manchester United history. Sir Alex Ferguson has without doubt had some notable success in the transfer market in the past, and the £1.5 million he paid Norwegian outfit Molde to sign Solskjaer seems like a complete bargain by today’s prices.

«We had to score some goals after the pressure we had. It’s unbelievable and it’s very difficult to describe how I feel just now. But if people still wonder why I stay at Manchester United they can see why. The team spirit, it is unbelievable.» – Ole Gunnar Solskjaer quote.
