Tera Berserker Guide – A Beginners Guide To The Berserker!

If you are looking to play the Berserker class in Tera then this article will give you an overview of the class and a few tips that you can use.

This class is an offensive juggernaut and wields a massive axe. The cool thing about the Berserker is that you will be able to take on multiple enemies quite well and the arc of your attacks is immense due to your axe so you will knock most enemies off their feet.

The other thing to note about the Berserker is that you have above average defence abilities but the thing to remember with this class is to make sure you get a decent axe as soon as you can because it directly relates to your defence ability.

With better than average defence and a heavy attacks the Berserker is for people that don’t want to worry about taking on foes 1 vs 1 and want to be in the thick of the battle.

Let us have a look at a few of the skills that will make up your arsenal with the Berserker:

Combo Attack – This is your standard attack and if you hold down the mouse button you will start a combo. The other thing to note with the Berserker is that you will actually get stronger the more you hit an opponent. This combo attack will restore about 10% of your MP per successful hit.

Glyph of Carving – This is a glyph that is well worth picking up and will increase the critical chance of carving by 10%.

Block – This is your standard block and you will block the stat that is equal to the weapon. This is why it pays to have a good axe as soon as you can. For instance if you have 3000 block on your axe and you take 4000 damage from the hit with a successful block you will only take 1000 damage.

Glyph of Spirit – This is a decent glyph to have with block as you will gain 3% mana with each successful block.

The other glyphs that you will want to pick up depending on how you play the game are:

Glyph of the Slick – This will remove the movement speed reduction that you get with some spells.

Glyph of Energy – This reduces the cooldown of certain spells which is handy.

Another skill that is worthy of note is the Thunder Strike which is a HUGE strike with your axe and it will land 4 metres in front of you. This is your strongest attack and you will also be able to keep on advancing due to the animation of this skill.

The Berserker is great fun and is recommended for Beginners to Intermediate MMO players.

An Interview With Erotic Romance Author Nadia Aidan, Author of ENTHRALLED

Nadia Aidan lives, works and writes on the East Coast in the United States. Under her real name, she holds a PhD in Political Science and Public Policy and by day she works as an Assistant Professor. In addition to writing erotic romances, Nadia enjoys reading other authors, playing flag football, studying muay thai, working out, listening to music, and scuba diving.

Her other interests include collecting Top Cow comics, especially Witchblade and Tomb Raider. She loves professional football and soccer. Her favorite teams are the Washington Redskins and Manchester United, respectively. Nadia loves watching, reading about, and writing about strong, assertive heroines which is why she is an enduring fan of Fight Girls, Xena, Buffy, and La Femme Nikita!

Thank you for giving us this interview, Nadia. Can we start out by having you tell us whether you are published for the first time or are you multi-published?

Enthralled is my debut novel and my first published work of fiction.

What was the name of your very first book regardless of whether it was published or not and, if not published, why?

Sweet Revenge is the name of the very first book. It has gone through extensive revisions and is currently under review so it looks like it will get published after all!

For your first published book, how many rejections did you go through before you either found a mainstream publisher, self-published it, or paid a vanity press to publish it?

Enthralled was never submitted to a publishing house. I wanted to self-publish the first novel that I released to the public. However, the first novel I wrote, Sweet Revenge, was rejected by one publishing house and then received a revise and resubmit. As I said before it is currently under review again, having been revised; However, this ALL came after Enthralled was already in the publication pipeline.

How did the rejections make you feel and what did you do to overcome the blows?

Well my day job involves A LOT of rejection so I am used to it! As an Assistant Professor it can sometimes take as long as TWO years to get just one article published – of course after dozens of rejection letters! I see the process of trying to get fiction works published as no different. A rejection sucks no matter what but you have to push it aside and trudge ahead. If you don't believe in your book then nobody else will so when you get a rejection, I recommend that first you burn the letter, go out and have a drink with your friends that night, and then get back to trying to get that book published!

When your first book was published, who published it and why did you choose them?

iUniverse published Enthralled. iUniverse was chosen over other self publishing / vanity houses because it is professional and efficient and I found that their goals were in line with mine regarding how I wanted to publish and market my book.

How did it make you feel to become published for the first time and how did you celebrate?

It was an amazing feeling – still is! You have this tremendous sense of accomplishment when you see something that you have been working on for a long time FINALLY in print. Seeing the book published was celebration enough!

What was the first thing you did as for as promotion when you were published for the first time?

First I sent several copies to reviewers then I listed myself on popular romance writing sites such as, Author Island, Night Owl Romance, Love Bites Romance and Coffee Times Romance where I made sure that I was listed as a featured or debut author.

If you had to do it over again, would you have chosen another route to be published?

Not at all! In the future I would like to do all those important things that fiction novelists can do like secure an agent, publishing with a royalty paying publisher and negotiate an advance! BUT this time I wanted to do this on my own. I wanted to see how successful I could be with no big publishing house backing me.

Have you been published since then and how have you grown as an author?

Enthralled was JUST released so no. Although, I do have three novellas currently under review and I entered one of my excerpts from another novella into the Brava Novella Contest. I am convinced that being productive has made me grow leaps and bounds as an author. The more I write the better I get. Mainly because I am forced to be more creative in how I structure my stories and the ideas that I base them upon.

Looking back since the early days when you were trying to get published, what do you think you could have done differently to speed things up? What kind of mistakes could you have avoided?

The biggest mistake I made was not hiring an editor at the very beginning – long before the fifth or sixth draft which is when I did it! I believe that if I hired an editor after maybe my second draft that I would have saved myself a lot of time and money in the end, not to mention the added frustration that came with it!

What has been the biggest accomplishment you have achieved since becoming published?

Seeing the novel receive good reviews has turned out to represent a tremendous accomplishment to me. And while I don't believe good reviews are validate my work, it does make me feel like at least there is SOMEONE out there who enjoyed reading my book and if there is one then maybe there are others!

If you could have chosen another profession, what would that profession be?

Well, BESIDES taking Halle Berry's job and ENTIRE life, there isn't anything else that I would rather be doing.

Would you give up being an author for that profession or have you combined the best of both worlds?

Fortunately I don't have to make that choice. Academia is very flexible and allows me the summers, winter break and many, many hours where I can write AND still get my other work done. To be honest, I don't see myself having to give up being an author BUT if I was forced to make a choice then I would walk away from academia in a heartbeat because writing is what I truly love.

How do you see yourself in ten years?

First of all I intend to be a TENURED professor by then. Once I get tenure I will have even more time to devote to my writing career! And as far as that is concerned I hope to have an agent and a multi book contract with a publishing house. In ten years I would like to see myself as a household name in the erotic romance genre.

Any final words for writers who dream of being published one day?

The first thing those who are interested in publishing should do is simply WRITE the book. I meet many people who say they want to be an author but when I ask them how their book is going I am disappointed to hear that they aren't even writing! I know it is hard to find the time and energy to sit down and do it but you have to if you want to see your work published. Also, if you are interested in becoming an author but you're not quite ready to sit down and write or submit your work then you should try to become familiar with your market and your genre. Even before I committed to publishing my book I was learning about my market by attending conferences and joining listservs and romance writing organizations. I also made sure that I kept up with market trends and became an avid consumer of new releases so that I would know what was out there. However, in the end the first step is to simply believe in your passion and the other stuff will eventually fall into place.

What Does My Name Mean? – Explore Your Name Meaning

Celebrity movie star Kate Hudson and her fiance British rocker Matt Bellamy recently gave birth to their baby boy. The tabloids were ripe with speculation regarding the baby name the couple would choose for the newly arrived family member. After much deliberation, the couple chose the name «Bingham» or «Bing» for short much like the search engine. Meanwhile, on an entirely different plain, celebrity football star David Beckham, who plays for Manchester United, and wife Victoria were busy naming their newly arrived baby daughter Harper Seven which sounds more like a password to a secret Gmail account than a baby name. What is it with the movers and shakers of our planet? Don’t they realize that the first thing their child is going to ask Dad and Mom when the «time cometh» is «what does my name mean?»

A Rich and Holy Tradition of Celebrity Baby Names

The practice of giving off-beat and unusual names to celebrity babies isn’t a recent trend by any stretch of the human imagination, More than three decades ago, singer composer Frank Zappa shocked everyone by naming his daughter Moon Unit Zappa. Moon later grew up to be a mover and shaker in her own right with hits like Valley Girl and others. More recent examples include Jermaine Jackson, Michael Jackson’s elder brother, who named his baby Jermajesty, and actor, skateboarder and photographer, Jason Lee who named his baby Pilot Inspektor.

Probing questions like «what does my name mean» or «what does my last name mean» are obviously not restricted to celebrity children. Even you have the right to know. Although whether or not your name has a meaning may have more to do with your ethnic heritage and cultural background, it really doesn’t hurt to either ask or research the issue because many baby name meanings are not obvious at first glance. In the Hindu naming tradition for example, chances are about 99.5% that your name means something and may be derived from Sanskrit, India’s ancient language. On the other hand, its meaning may be known only to those who are familiar with the language because, like Latin, Sanskrit isn’t used anywhere in India for conversational purposes.

Many Norman and Anglo-Saxon names have no meaning and even if they do, the meaning may be more legendary than derived through etymology. In China, baby names take on clearly defined meanings and often tend to reflect virtues and traits that are worthy of emulation. As is the case with baby names in these cultures, the names of babies can have religious connotations in many parts of the world thus assuming added significance.

Direct Response to the Million Dollar Baby Name Meaning Question

Let us spring ahead for a moment instead of falling behind and assume that you are now a parent and have a child who wakes up one fine morning and pops the question, «what does my name mean?» Your response should be as natural as can be. it is very likely that you researched baby name meanings when you researched baby names for your son or daughter. In that case the answer will be forthcoming instantly. If that is not the case and given the remote possibility that you do not know the meaning of your child’s name, simply buy time. Say that you need a day to come up with your baby name’s meaning and share it as soon as Almighty Google has shared it with you.

Either way, any questions regarding your baby’s name (after all a baby is always a baby no matter how old he or she is) such as «what does my name mean» or «what does my last name mean» should be addressed by you and your significant other accurately and in a timely fashion. If there is an anecdote behind your baby’s name, share it. If there is a family connection with a grand dad or grand mom, reveal it. Discussions about baby names once the children are old enough to understand is always productive and instills in them not only a sense of confidence but also goes a long way to help the family come closer and bond together.

Why Do You Need SEO or PPC Services?

SEO and PPC Services are very important to the success of any internet website. If you wish to make money online, especially through advertising, then you will never be able to do so without the right SEO services or PPC services to back you up. This is because of the fact that all websites make money through online traffic. The more people visit your website and click on the links and ads, the more money you will make. This means it is very important for your website to have a clear idea in terms of what it is about. Once you know what the website is about, then it is a matter of attracting people who are interested in that subject matter.

The only way most people search for websites is through search engines. They go on Google, Yahoo!, or Bing to find websites related to the topic they want information about. That is why your website must be SEO optimized, and this can only be done by a writer who is a SEO specialist. Only through good SEO services will you be able to get articles and information on your website that will show up on search engines. You want your website to appear near the top, or as close to the top, for any number of keywords related to the topic. For example, if your article is about Manchester United, the famous English soccer team, then you would want «Manchester United», «MUFC», «Man Utd», «Man U», «soccer», and «football» to be used a number of times in the articles on your website. Only then will people who search for any of these keywords end up on your page. Otherwise, you could have a great website but no one will ever visit it, and you will not make any money from it either.

PPC services are just as important, because the best way to make money through websites is by pay per click advertising. This advertising is special because you get to put the ads on your website for free, usually through a program such as Google AdSense, and then you get a share of the profits every time someone clicks on one of those links. This way, you are making money without having to spend very much. But again, it is best to have a PPC specialist who can help you decide which types of ads are best for your website, and which types are unlikely to get any clicks.

If you have a football, or soccer, website, then it is no good having ads about beauty products or spa treatments. You want ads that are related, that your viewers will want to click on and learn more about. That way, you will stand a far greater chance of making money on your website. Only the right PPC services can give you that information.

The Wright Decision

July 19th 2005, the morning after his dream transfer to the English Premier League champions, Shaun Wright-Phillips must have woken up feeling like the happiest man alive. He had just been unveiled as the answer to Chelsea’s right-sided «problem», and the stage was set for Shaun to stake his claim as the best right winger in England even pushing for David Beckham’s starting role.

Fast forward ten months and Shaun must now be echoing his adopted father’s sentiments that he should have signed for Liverpool. Admittedly Ian Wright’s comment was tongue in cheek, but few would argue that Anfield would have been the more logical destination last summer. Not only would he have been guaranteed all those games where Steven Gerrard, Dribril Cisse, Jan Kromkamp, Steve Finnan and Luis Garcia provided makeshift cover at right-midfield, but he would most certainly have been included in Sven Goran Eriksson’s swan song. As it stands he is not even on the stand by list.

For once Sven has shown the courage to select his England squad based on form alone. For the 15 or so games that Wright-Phillips was granted access to the playing field by Jose Mourinho he has failed to impress and surely Aaron Lennon is ahead of him on merit. One could even argue that were Lennon to have picked up an injury then Birmingham’s Jermaine Pennant should replace him rather than Wright-Phillips. It is one thing to gamble on a half fit Michael Owen or Wayne Rooney, but for all the hype Shaun is really in the same category as Andy Johnson and Darren Bent. All three have only had one solid EPL season and remain unproven at the highest level.

A transfer to one of the Big Four clubs should never be enough to guarantee an international place. Scott Parker quickly learnt that in order to re-ignite his career, a move away from Stanford Bridge was necessary. Only a brave man would put money on Shaun Wright-Phillips still being a Chelsea player in three months time.

A History of the Chelsea Flower Show

The origins of the Chelsea Flower Show is as rich and varied as the abundance of stunning horticulture on display in it's gardens. Before it became the world's number one venue for lovers of flowers and garden architecture, the exhibition was the centerpiece of The Royal Horticultural Society Great Spring Show. This was first held in the Spring of 1862, and the original site was located at Kensington. This was a popular event in the calender and as a result, ran for some twenty-six years until 1888.

The decision was then made to relocate the annual Great Spring Show to a more central location in the city, so as to entice even more visitors. The selected venue was the Temple Gardens, near the Enbankment and this was an instant hit with more exhibits being displayed than ever before. Not only was it capturing the imagination of the public, but also suppliers of plants, flowers and seed were drawn to it as a means of gaining further business.

The Great Spring Show ran until 1912, when a one-off Royal International Horticultural Exhibition was launched and a larger, more suitable site was needed. It was down to the eminent horticulturist, Sir Harry Veitch to locate the new venue. Eventually, and to some surprise, he chose the eleven acres of Chelsea Royal Hospital grounds to host the Exhibition. Such was the success of this elaborate event, that all concerned believed it to be the perfect venue for the Great Spring Show. And so, in the Spring of 1913, the Show was relocated again to the Chelsea site, which is where it has remained to this day.

It has been an incredibly hardy exhibition, with only the two World Wars having interrupted it's annual celebration of all things horticultural. The success of the Chelsea Flower Show has grown exponentially through the years and is now well known as being the top attraction in the horticulture calendar. It welcomes visitors from around the world to walk through the myriad of beautiful exhibits on display. It is a location very much close to the Royal Family's heart, and several of the family pay visits to a special preview of the exhibition.

The gardens themselves breathe fresh life and inspire new generations of gardeners and followers of horticulture, often creating new fashions and trends as each year passes and this will no doubt continue on into the future.

The Chelsea Flower Show has survived through all weathers, wars and riots to promote it's stunning attractions year on year and is surely the benchmark for all other horticulture shows. It's long history is indelibly woven into the fabric of what makes it such a successful and popular event.

This Caribbean city and holds the biggest population in the country, and offers curious visitors a look at Barbados' rich culture and history.

While the city may have established quite a number of modern structures like office complexes, shopping malls and banks, Bridgetown has still managed to preserve a number of its most precious historic sites and colonial buildings. The city maintains a very energetic atmosphere enhanced by its vibrant streets, regularly occupied by eager vendors of various goods and fresh produce. Here, you will get plenty of opportunities for duty -free shopping especially in areas like the Broad Street. It is also very easy to find local crafts in the city's street markets.

Most of the important tourist sites in Bridgetown are within easy walking distance from the city center. And fortunately, the city buses serve most of these destinations. Take note that Bridgetown is one of the oldest cities in the Caribbean. While here, don't miss the chance to walk around its fascinating historical section, which is home to the city's most precious architectural landmarks, including the Parliament Buildings of Barbados. These buildings exude the exquisite neo-gothic design and were constructed in the late 19th century using coral limestone. One of the impressive features of the buildings is its stained glass windows, which depict the different British monarchs. Its west wing houses the government offices, the clock tower, the Parliament Museum and the National Gallery. And if you walk to the east wing, you will find the Senate and House of Assembly.

The Barbados Garrison is another significant historical landmark in Bridgetown. It fact this garrison is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as it is considered to be the largest of its kind during the 18th and 19th centuries. These days, the garrison houses the Barbados Defense Force, but it has other sections that are worth visiting. Some of these sections include the St. Ann's Fort, established in 1705; the Georgian style mansion called George Washington House; and the Barbados National Armory, which maintains a massive collection of iron cannons, made during the 17th century. Another important building found in the garrison is the Barbados Museum, which can give you great insight into the island's history through its extensive exhibits and galleries. In the exterior portion of the Barbados Garrison lies an oval green space, which is used as a park and venue for sporting events, horse races and parades.

Make your way to the city's natural harbor called Carlisle Bay, which also plays hosts to regular water sports events. If you walk to the southern side of the bay, you will find the popular Pebbles beach, which is frequently visited due to its soft white sand and perfectly calm water, suitable for swimming. If scuba diving is something you would like to do, arrange an excursion to the Carlisle Bay Marine Park, whose ocean floor is occupied by a couple of old shipwrecks.

If you are content just staying on the beach, comfortably sitting on a sun lounge and protected by an umbrella; then you should seek out the Boatyard Beach Club. This club is conveniently equipped with a restaurant and offers a range of fun water-based activities.
