I'm so pleased with Gab, I've always waited to hear someone say this. At times it's not good to read too much into shots on target.
Someone might get a half chance and go for power and put it on target; and the other may get a clear chance and try as much to avoid the keeper, putting it off target.
Assessing a team's performance on that stat when you've watched the game makes no sense

Stevie Nichols is perhaps too old school to appreciate details of the match which Don & Gab point out. The net result is that Stevie looks like a prem face who is clueless.
Steve Nichol is always so biased towards his beloved Liverpool. Agree that Inter were disappointing in an attacking sense but so were Liverpool who were underpar. However has Steve Nichol even considered that the reason why Liverpool were underpar was because Inters midfield was so good and didn't let LFC perform. Thought it was a fairly even match however when the subs came on the last 20 minutes it gave Liverpool energy and they looked a fitter outfit, a 1-0 win to Liverpool would have been the fair result.

The truth of the matter is that Liverpool looked sub-par because Inter were that good. Inter tried to stop chances from open play and have quality in their team even without barella. If you watch football you'll know that teams like Inter cannot be a walk in the park or just be dominated. Liverpool subs were quality and Inter lost cus their front men were just bad.

Fatso Marcotti trying so hard to defend Serie A team. As italian american who pushes Italian football on ESPN. bending backwards to portray Inter as better team. LOL. Inter couldnt do much because of Liverpool's masterful pressing. Liverpool, basically, suffocated Inter.
Inter fan here. I think that we can do way better than this, one sure thing is that lautaro and dzeko don't play well together. They are struggling in serie A too. We should go at Anfield with:

As a neutral respect to inter they played well Stevie is just odd, dont know what match he watch.
Trent is useless as a defender thiago and Elliot were overpowered, thank God klopp saw it an made the changes.

This dude is clueless. I watched that game; Liverpool struggled. The didn’t have another “gear” lol. Luckily, they just had a good manager and players who knew what needed to be done.
