I think if you want to get above Rush, you're a striker coming from the youth set up. Unless we sign another level of striker who is 21 or something, fires on all cylinders right away and never gets injured.
I'm with Robbo. The Premier League/Pre-Premier League thing does a massive dis-service to the likes of Greaves, Hunt, Rush, etc. And in those days a striker had to be 'onside' of the defender – not level.
