Liverpool FC's Mohamed Salah & Lionel Messi miss out on FIFA The Best Award to Robert Lewandowski

Liverpool’s star forward Mohamed Salah missed out on FIFA’s The Best Award for the best men’s footballer of 2021, after Bayern Munich and Poland star Robert Lewandowski won the award for the second year running.

During the time period in question, Robert Lewandowski scored a ridiculous 51 goals in just 44 games, also notching 8 assists.

Shockingly, there was also no place for any Liverpool players in the FIFPRO World 11, with even top three nominee Mohamed Salah somehow missing out on a place in the attacking front 4…

  1. I would love to see lewedowski try & score half as many of his goals in the ENGLISH PREMIERSHIP EVEN SALAH KNOWS HOW TUFF IT IS ?✌️ If Harry Kane was in the bunders league who scores goals like lewedowski even he would get those numbers or more so I don't really rate lewedowski unless he comes to the biggest league in the world. KING MO ROBBED AGAIN!✌️

  2. I don’t really understand why people brother about rewards, I think the most important thing for a footballer is the joy they bring to the world, players like Drogba , Andres Iniesta, Paolo Maldini, Xavi, Gianluigi Buffon. And so on. Didn’t get the recognitions they deserved from who ever awards this silly awards.
I personally think football player’s greatest reward is about the image they leave their fans brain and heart cuz they will never forget them. If you have ever seen players like Thierry Henry or Or Paul Paul Scholes play live, even if they never won an award you will still remember

  3. I have no problem with that because Salah wasn't but as other people have said if Salah continues his form and wins cups because the premiership is over !!

  4. Can someone please explain to me how David Alaba got into Team Of The Year???
My only reason for that is he plays for Real Madrid, since we all know Real Madrid & Barcelona both pay these greedy organisations of FIFA & UEFA to pick their players in team of years.

  5. I just don't like the idea of rewarding players who play in very weak leagues. Salah in Germany against the terrible defences would score 70 goals a season in that league. FIFA have just made Lewandowski the best player in the world and he plays in a league where all the teams got eliminated in the first round of the champions league, so they shows the low level of the Bundesliga. Only in football do they reward players who play in the weaker leagues. In basketball the best player in the world is always in the NBA because it is the best league and EPL is the NBA of football. Haaland in the team of the year ahead of Mane and Salah, who has scored the grand total of 4 goals for Norway in competitive games.

  6. Let's be honest lads, Mo Salah was never going to win it since it's Anti Liverpool FC organisation. FIFA & UEFA are both a joke that destroying our game for money & greed.
