  2. All these talks of Kessie being key is misplaced. He had his moments but we already moved on from Kessie until the last 6 games of the season. Kessie is okay at best but this revisionist narrative about a guy who let us down is shambolic. Grow a pair and stop echoing narratives from casuals who don't watch Serie A, let alone Milan, on a regular.

  4. One thing I will never understand.
    And it's not on you guys. It's in general I don't understand this new era Football Manager supporters I see out on social media being pro managers from their kitchen;

    – We need a new LW
    – We need a new DLWhrm
    – We need a new DFMzzzzz
    – We need a MFMBDLBTQ

    I have no idea what these people are talking about.
    This that you have to find a player who can only play in an exact specific position and not any other.

    Back in my days Maldini played out on the flank as defender. Then he took the step in as central defender.
    If that happened today I feel like people would complain and exclaim "no! it will all turn shit"

    Today it seems as if it's impossible for supporters to understand that someone who starts at one position early career, that you can school him play a totally different position and play as well or maybe even better.

    This is 2022. These are players who are so more professionally trained compared to 1992 that if you took one and over a season coached one playing left side decided to have him on the right side, he would adapt and be just as good or maybe better there.

    I don't understand these specifics that we must have a perfect LW on LW and a currently playing LW continue to play as LW his entire life.

    It's not a matter of original position.
    It's a matter of good coaching and training to own that position.

    Ask Johann Cruyff. If he was alive. Him and his team mates played any position and that was how the greatest football system ever invented – total football (which Barca in their prime later got their hands on) – became.

  6. The serie a "pundits" have a hard time keeping Milan right at the top because serie A is habituated of seeing old proven players winning the campionato. They do not trust young players. They think what Milan did with "these"' players was an one time fluke, because for them a squad with 30 year old avg age is better than a squad with younger players with massive talent. And because of this very mentality, Italy will be out from the world cup for at least 12 years, and out from the knock out rounds for at least 20 years.

  9. Messias is good enough. He’s not a defender so the goal conceded being put on him is unfair. Only reason we need another right wing is to provide back up for messias because the salad maker couldn’t hit a barn door. We looked really good guys. Why is there any negativity at all. We scored 4 goals against Udinese in the first game of the season. I’m so glad that Pioli is picking the team because if some of the fans were left to it , we would be near relegation with their negativity. Be bloody positive. We have a definitely strengthen team. And how the F do you not think that was a penalty? The Udinese defender missed the ball entirely and caught Calabria. 100% pen. Why is Stevie so down and negative? You spent how many minutes whining and moaning about a penalty decision that was clear. The ref even looked at it himself. Come on guys. Please. Stop the negativity for God’s sake. Wtf? ‘If we go down against Atalanta we ain’t coming back..’ Yea we bloody will and we can. And messias will lead the comeback if needed. You guys are talking as if we got slapped. Who should be worried? Inter looked like shit. If you think the reason was the pitch maybe you should support Arsenal since you love the EPL so much. Really annoyed with this week’s podcast. Stop being so BS negative. Hopefully coast2coast bring in some joy and positivity later on to counter the absolute darkness from your viewpoint today.
