I just think Club Brugge is been greedy considering the fact that his contract expires in 2024. But on the other hand we have not renforcément our squad . Thats all i can say because time is running out before we know the league has started. As for RedBird i really still don't know what to say .
I don't understand why CDK is our main target and not Hakim Ziyech

NOTHING stops Milan from getting Ziyech; I’m sure he’s willing to take a pay cut as per salary but I still don’t know why Milan see him as an alternative to CDK instead of an addition and the right helper on the RW…if we’re going to stand a chance against any club this season, we need new signings period.
How would you see the depth chart right now? GK: Maignan (Tata, Mirante) LB: Theo (Ballo, Florenzi) CB: Tomori, Kalulu (Kjaer, Gabbia) RB: Calabria (Florenzi, Kalulu) DM: Tonali, Bennacer (Pobega, Krunic) LW: Leao (Rebic) CAM: Adli (Diaz, Krunic) RW: Messias (Saelemaekers) FW: Giroud (Origi, Rebic)
I excluded Maldini, Lazetic and Bakayoko b/c I expect them to leave anyhow.
On a side note that's 3 homegrown players (Calabria, Gabbia, Pobega), 3 Italians (Mirante, Florenzi, Tonali) and (if I didn't miscount) 17 non-Italian players. If I'm not mistaken squad regulation is 4 homegrown, 4 Italien and a hard cap of 17 non Italian.
So I wonder which of our non-Italian players we are going to get rid of? If CdK arrives, Diaz makes absolutely no sense any more in my opinion. Adli looks much better, very good technically, physically strong (which is the obvious weakness of Diaz). With CdK in the mix those two will compete for the CAM starting spot, while Diaz would probably get only a few minutes here and there. Too expensive for that.
Same with Ziyech – if he arrives either Messias or Saelemaekers will have to go. Therefore Berardi would be the ideal solution for that position.
And loaning out Gabbia – as rumored – and getting another non-Italian center back just makes everything worse.
Bottom line: Primarily b/c of losing Kessie and Romagnoli Milan has a major problem with squad regulations.
The problem With Milan is that because they’ve got amazing bargains with players you mentioned, ie Leao, Tomori, Tonali, etc…
They think that every transfer will be like that. Sometimes you've got to pay a little extra for top talents.

Dream mercato is CDK, Ziyech (on loan w/ potential to buy, and Tenganga (on loan w/ obligation). I think our team is good enough without anymore CM coverage.

– Why are journalists writing CDK or Ziyech??? I’m not a fan of Ziyech, but the two players are playing in different positions. CDK plays as a acm behind the attack,that’s how he built a career.Whereas Ziyech is a classic winger player.

Also Chukwuemeka is a more suitable profile for Milan,explaining : If Milan gets CDK for an advanced midfielder we have 3 players (CDK,Adli & Diaz). Carney (cannot write his full name!),on the other hand plays more deep in the midfield. He is more a Kessie player. I think this guy next to our midfielders would build a great career.
To be honest my main concern is the attack. Imagine instead of being in July,lets say it is November. We’ve got Origi out, Zlatan out (despite his alien body I think he’ll miss most of the new season) and we’ve got Giroud to count on.Some people say we have Rebic too. As I see it,Rebic is more like a 2nd attacker rather than a classic striker.
I know you’re trying to be realistic,but when ACM plays in the Champions League,the only target there should be is the trophy. I know it won’t come in the near future but that is what we should aim for.And I am pretty sure Maldini has the same opinion…That is why he asked for guarantees and signed eventually.
I actually knew CDK when i was watching psg- club brugge in CHL. I liked him a lot for a youngster. matter of fact hes my favorite player from all the players were looking at and seeing maldini not giving up on him so easy only reenforces my conviction on him. i think we will take him and he will become a point of reference in the team. i hope we take Ziyech also but if we have to choose one id go with CDK every day of the week. hes much younger, huge potential, champions league experience etc. Ultimately id be very happy if we end up getting CDK, Sanchez and one of the CB names that are circulating.
