  1. The first time I saw him score against Liverpool I knew he could be that special centre forward we were looking for. Just like Diaz let Nunez ease into Liverpool squad. Wishing him all the success at Liverpool.

  2. I have to admit, while I'd love United to get him, I think Nunez suits Liverpool perfectly. And Craig and Stevie are right, he is overvalued at 100M, but if they keep him healthy, they're getting a young talent that could stay for several years. He'll make that money back in regular top 4 finishes, shirt sales, trophy wins, and high-powered offense fills those seats at the Anfield which keeps stadium revenue up. As a long-term investment, I have no problem with this at all. He's proven himself against one of the best back lines in Europe TWICE, that's a player you bring in to terrorize the big boys in Champions League.

  3. Everyone's forgetting Patrik Schick. The 6'3" Czech clinical finisher in Leverkusen. 26, not 22 like Nunez but definitely worth 60-70 mil if Nunez goes for 100. Perhaps Manu U or Arsenal would be interested? Chelsea would need a CF if or after rather, Lukaku leaves.

  4. Chelsea sold Courtois for 30 plus million and bought Kepa for 70 plus but pundits never mentioned that whenever they lambast Chelsea. Hahaha See how they working the economic of this transfer.

  5. I wish Liverpool could still make something happen. Real Madrid talk break down with Tchouameni and Liverpool intercept and get him. He would be so vital for the team

  6. URUGUAY 2022 World cup: Cavani, Suárez, Darwin, Valverde, Betancur, De Arrascaeta, Araújo, Gimenez y Godin. 9 Players at High Level, Uruguay can reach World Cup Semifinals or at the Final!!!!!!????

  7. Liverpool just had to make a statement signing after Man City signed Haaland. This is a great signing for Liverpool, Klop will mold him to a monsterous signing. Liverpool already proving life after Mane leaves

  8. The last young man expensive big number 9 Liverpool had was and it did not work. I have the same feeling also for Nunez. Andy Carol? Liverpool is not a good place for big number 9 striker

  9. This would be a great move for Liverpool. I love Mane' but it looks like he's going to move on, and I want to say thank you sincerely for everything you provided for Liverpool, you'll never be forgotten

  10. I mean, City already has Ederson, Cancelo, Ruben Dias and Bernardo. Arsenal has Nuno Tavares. United has Lindelof. Now Liverpool with Nunez. Apart from Chelsea, all of the english big boys have players from us (Benfica) . Our league for sure its not the greatest, but i think its the best league outside of the big 5. Good luck Darwin and thank you!

  11. It's not just money from Mane, but also money from selling Minamino, Nat Phillips and Neco Williams. Liverpool has money no doubt about it, they surely will spend on some quality midfielder as well. Nunez is a good player, under Klopp he will become ruthless.

  12. Funny how these experts change their opinion when the club is Liverpool. Last when they were discussing about Man UTD signing Nunez for 100 mil, each one of them said, if UTD does this deal they are absolutely stupid ?

  13. 2 many forwards spoil the broth ?in a way a nice problem to have think lfc s main concern need to greatly improve trent defensively or move him mid field and a coaching thing it's not just lfc but lfc a big culprit need more long shots this walking it in and passing back drives me nuts !Speaking from my easy boy coaching chair but some truth in it

  14. I’m glad Liverpool are buying a 100 million dollars player, hopefully now we won’t have to hear their fans trying to tell us how their team always buy cheap players . Even though we all know that’s not the case.

  15. What that woman said about not paying Salah what he wants but buying Nunez, give her head a wobble. Salah is asking for £400,000 a week, over the 5 years he wants that's £105,000,000. Nunez will cost £85m IF we pay what Benfica are asking right now, his contract he accepted is £95,000 a week over a 5 year contract that's £24,700,000, added to the £85m max that $109,700,000. BUT, and this is what she is crucially missing, Salah turns 30 in 4 days, he'll be 35 at the end of any new contract so quite possible if he goes like normal players , that by 33-34 he won't be anywhere near his current level whereas Nunez has the possibility of improving the entire life of the contract and even if he doesn't live up to it has a sell on value because of his age. There is MUCH less risk in buying Nunez for this money than giving it to Salah for a new 5 year contract. One final point, they aren't dependent on each other you know, it isn't that we can't afford to pay Salah, it's that we have a wage structure and his demands are outside that.

  16. $85-$100mil for a guy nobody knew until last season at age 22 it's a huge gamble. If your spending that much why not get haaland or mbappe it makes no sense.
