22. Has to be matip he's one of our most consistent players. Konates a baller but he's more liable to make a mistake. Not sure if its just me but konate seems to struggle with low crosses

23. Matip is brilliant, Virgil gets all the credit and he deserves to be called the worlds best centre half, but Matip is just as dominant in 99% of Liverpools games. Konate and even Gomez could slot in easily next to Virgil and do a job too. We're blessed with four world class centre halves.

27. Gotta go with Matip. He has experience in the UCL final already. Konate has never experienced a UCL final. Konate will have his opportunity to play in a UCL final down the line. Don't get me wrong Konate is brilliant but Matip is world class.

35. Matip is the best dribbler in the league who plays defense. The man can carry the ball well and also spot a pass. Matip is the most underated player on the squad… has a couple key goals and assists this season. That is why he is better than Gomez/Konate. He has a very good attacking side… on defence he is not quick but like Virgil he reads the game superbly.
