Should Liverpool be interested in Paulo Dybala free transfer? | Morning Bulletin

It appears that Juventus forward Paulo Dybala is set to leave the Serie A side as a free agent in the summer – and Liverpool are being linked with a transfer move for the Argentine.

The 28-year-old is clearly a very good player, but should the Reds take a look at him and would he fit in under Jurgen Klopp? Emmet Gates and Ben Bocsak take a look.

  1. Tbh he reminds me of a left footed coutinho, similar ste and attributes, wouldn't be the worst fit, but the question you've got to ask is why? We moved away from coutinho and had and continue to have success, so why return to the old team.

He looks more of a better fit at man city than at liverpool, his playmaker abilities would fit in there and his lack of pace and pressing would be less of an issue there than here.

Also, talking about transfer rumors, the ones regarding lewandowski don't make sense at all, given that likely we wont be able to keep salah and sign lewa, letting salah go for a much older lewa isn't logical, and we would have a considerably big hole at lw if such a scenario occurs. On top of that idk if klopp is even open to the idea of resigning players he used to work with.

  2. A few seasons ago he was an elite player. Have always loved his style. He's basically a less physical but more dangerous Bobby. However I think the ship might have sailed ⛵

  3. I mean he is free, maybe try him out for 1 year? Then transfer him? Idk like klopp said it’s better to have backups but we need to make sure we lock in salah first!
