Harvey Elliott has today stepped up his return to first-team action by featuring in a behind-closed-doors under-23s match against Wrexham.
The Liverpool midfielder successfully completed 60 minutes of match action, which the club planned as the most appropriate arrangement ahead of the game.
The 18-year-old midfielder managed to get on the scoresheet as well as register an assist during his hour-long involvement and is believed to have come through the game well, as Matt Addison reports.
