  1. You are not understanding. Since day one you have been thinking Pulisic can't start over Chuck. Pulisic knows how to run off the ball and get in dangerous places, he brings the ball to the middle and looks for passes, has great link up play. Chuck dribbles to dead ends and has none of Pulisic assets. Chuck is not ready and he will not play over Pulisic. Your analysis is way off. You need to watch both players off the ball. Pulisic by far the best player on the team in this respect. On the left he would actually outscore Leao because he knows how to find the dangerous late run. He had a very good game and you are criticizing him.

  2. Great recap…The game needed the goal to really get going, the first half felt really sluggish. Leao really took his time getting into the match, elite, world class players don't have that tendency, he needs to break out of this habit . He was rested v Cagliari and should've started stronger.
I'll call out the bonehead selfish play by Tomori when he tried a shot when he was 3v2 with Giroud and Leao on either side of him. In a close match that could've been a mistake we stew upon, outside of that a very good performance.
Reijnders chance was tough, the ball was tight to his feet, it was a difficult finish. That said this isn't the first time he's missed and he needs to finish them, the team will eventually need one of those in the net.

  3. It seems like sometimes people might not realize Pulisic's greatness because maybe they've always been in the same systems and player pools, and when introduced to new players and ideas it takes time for people to process and accept what's happening. Pulisic breaks records and wins big big trophies everywhere he plays because he breaks through all the barriers. He shatters them with his spirit. Pulisic's football IQ is off the charts. His vision, awareness, decisiveness is world class. He gives everything he has all the time. All he wants is to win for his team.

And remember, Pulisic first broke through at Dortmund at age 16 and made an immediate impact. That might play into Pioli's decisions on player selection and strategy this week.

  4. Reijinders Is great, and yes he needs to improve his finishing. He said he was a box to box but I'm seeing him more like a Modric/de Bruyne kind. It'll be great if he improves his defensive skills as well and becomes a good box to box though.
About who's starting again Dortmund I guess Chukuweze, but let's see

  5. You’re buggin about the “indecisiveness” I feel like you hated early in the season when he tried ti take players on one V one bc you thought that wasn’t then time and place. Got news for you. Pulisic was the only metronome in the first half and of you watched his desire off the ball or after a layoff you’d see he’s literally always running and showing for his teammates. Which is the OPPOSITE of Leao. I don’t wanna make this a pulisic V rafa rant. But you’re nuts if you think Leao wasn’t actually more to blame for Milan’s static and lack luster performance. He only wants to score for the first 65 minutes of a match and will do anything to avoid passing to a person with better chance to score. That screams anti captain. Bc what happens when you pass up those chances and do stupid shit against the top teams in the table or UCL then they come down and burry you. Then you and others make apologies or excuses that enable the narrative to be created tbat he should never be dropped or that he’s a top 3 winger in the world. Well then CP will be in the top 5-7 bc he’s gonna be only short about 3-4 contributions come the end of the season. It’s not hyperbole or wishful thinking, it’s numbers based on their GA per 90 in their career. But until Leao decides that pulisic is elite too and not here to steal his spot or take the shine and he passes it early Milan could suffer as a team

  6. Also wish this guy ripped leao as much as he ripped pulisic… leao loses the ball atleast 10-15 times a game and makes piss sorry decisions and passes and doesnt take shots when he should (not too many games ago leao had the emtire defemse beat amd the goal keeper on his back and instead of shooting he kept dancing around dribbling right in front of the goal and lost the ball)

  7. #1 wanting a player to pass backwards is moronic at best especially when it is an attacking plaher because passing backwards normally only leads too going even further back and further back until all of your forward momentum is gone and your attack is dead… #2 pulisic attacks he hates going backwards and wants to keep the play/ball going forwards and keep the defense and defensive players under constant pressure… #3 you mentioned it yourself mulan players do not make overlapping runs which is what pulisic is always lookkng for when he drives with the ball that and 1-2 passing like what he did with giroud the first game of the season

  8. On Pulisic’s indecisiveness: i actually think he is decisive in that he is looking to pass first. The problem being when you are that far down in the box, passing lanes close in split seconds and then it looks like he is hung up. Pioli might just want to encourage him to look for the shot that deep.

  9. Excellent post match pointers, I think Milan looked alot more fluid in this game especially in the 2nd half. I think we are beginning to see Milan gel a little bit more, the players are becomimg more comfortable playing together and understanding each others style of play.

I want to bring up Musah, he is amazing, one thing I would add about him is that he is so strong on the ball. He is so good at winning the ball back in the 2nd and last 3rd of the field. He will attack make a pass and if the ball is lost, there is immediate pressure to prevent a counter. Very similar style of playing process to Gatusso, Rodrigo De Paul, Tonali (not saying that he is on De Paul’s level or Gatusso) but he does all the things Tonali used to do on defense except his offensive game is a bit more polished. Crazy opinion but I like him more than RLC on that right side, he just looks so comfortable.

For Dortmund, I hope they start Okafor – because he used to play in the bundesliga and is accustomed to the teams. I hope Pulisic plays as well as he is comfortable where he began, he had such a great time at Dortmund. I hope Musah, Rijinders Adli, Leao, Tomori, Thiaw for pace, Florenzi and Theo.

  10. Tuchel and Potter and even Gregg to an extent have a list of priorities in certain situations on the field. Pulisic during his time at Chelsea has been clearly broken into being a robot and when those previous orders clash against his current and instinctual priorities you see him slip mentally. Ive seen this several times where maybe he tries a one two but no one is there or when he has the ability to take a guy on but he takes the easy back pass. Pulisic isn't inherently indecisive its been drilled into him

  11. Pulisic is very adept at making late runs into the correct spaces. He also does a lot of good defensive work. Hopefully he will stay healthy and continue to play up to his capabilities as his presence on the right allows Leao more space on the left. The attack seems much more balanced.

  12. It’s very clear watching your videos you don’t rate Pulisic. That’s fine you were more excited about Chukwuze. When he signed in my opinion. I’ll continue to watch your channel. Because you’re the most consistent AC Milan channel. your criticisms are fair at times. Today you got it wrong he was the most consistent player out there behind Lao. Other than that keep up the good work.

  13. Really nice breakdown. Especially on Pulisic. There were a handful of times throughout the game where he could've taken a one touch shot or pass in, but hesitated. Losing a spot in Chelsea from taking too many "chances" might be what has him a bit hesitant. Maybe doesn't want to lose his spot, lack of confidence, wants to make sure the other guys have their shots, etc. Good things for him to keep in mind, but he's definitely overthinking it. Overall still a good game and nice W. Hopefully nothing serious with Loftus-Cheek, but good to see Musah sub early and play so well.

  14. Great bit! Your opening segment captured the difference in Milan this season: The new signings! They’re still getting used to “new everything”, including timing on the ball, little space and aggressive marking – but so far so good.

As you pointed out, yesterday’s was a game of two halves. In the second, Milan simply shifted to a higher gear – pushing Lazio high up the pitch in their own half, and making the best out of the resulting semi-counters. I’m not going to single out anyone’s performance as everyone put in a good day’s work and helped elevate the club to an important win.

Onto Dortmund next! Expect a hectic stadium atmosphere on Wednesday coupled with an opposition that is aggressive but has important quality up front. Tactical organization, composure and quality will be of most significance to Milan. Forza Milan ❤️🖤.
