Is Maignan the best ever Milan GK? Based on talent, yes (although I've "only" been a fan for 30 years). Better than $rumma. As for achievement and longevity, we have to wait, but what a start! Scudetto and CL semi so far in his first 2 seasons.

One thing I don’t agree with you is that Dollarumma is the best keeper we’ve had. He’s got talent and potential and could have been a legend but his head and character were lacking and that’s nit what a legend is, especially a Milan legend. Carlo Cudicini, Seba Rossi, Dida were head and shoulders above Dollarumma.

I understand he can not score, but he should not be that lazy to mark Di Lorenzo in the penalty box that caused Tomori to slide in and gifted the penalty unfortunately. Also, hope Giroud gets his confidence back. Being this much wasteful, it will be hard to pass Inter let alone some big teams.

At some point in time, AC Milan has to understand that letting their opponents have the ball, defend and counter attack may reach far, but its just awful to watch. AC Milan needs to develop its midfield. Seedorf and Pirlo always felt safe playing in the midfield because they had great first touches, but most importantly world class defenders. Back and midfield had such a unique chemistry, it allowed the attack to flourish.
For me it's Krunic, the way he reads the game helped us a lot

I used to love Rossi, Abbiati, Dida, Kalac, Donnarumma, a little bit less Taibi, Lehmann, Amelia, Storari or Diego Lopez, but Magic Mike represents the next level of goalkeeping. He's faster, quicker and more agile than anyone of these. He's leadership and bravery is equal or better than Abbiati. If we speak about football skills he's something completely else, but not eccentricity prone like Onana, Olsen or Higuita (or mistake prone like Donnarumma). MM sometimes looks like a player plus on the pitch. He's basically Manual Neuer of the new decade (an improved version). He's so professional, composed and amazing in 1 on 1 situations. He's the best!
