  1. Let's all remember that Pajak really rated Rashford & Sancho when I was casting doubt on both, indeed I was the FIRST to compare Rashford to Theo Walcott long before national journalists jumped on the bandwagon & I was also praying that Sancho would go to United when he was linked with us…so let's take his overconfident musings with a massive pinch of salt.

  2. we need to change the system especially if we have a centre forward and our midfield being crocked. if I see that lad playing in a 4-3-3 Ill fkin cry

  3. We have a weakness for the Toshack and Keegan setup..tried and failed it with Carroll who we signed on the back of being big, playing well against us, one good season, good looking lad…This kid is the same with 2 knee operations to boot….. thats 150 million we have sunk into Portuguese league..Utd r feeling it after B Fernandes lost his way.. Apart from CR7 and Ruben Dias who has come from that league and done super well. Did we massively overpay just to keep our wage structure. Ofcourse keep VVD happy? But does this give others lads on massive wages who dont play any incentive to step up. If you r ox or Keita, always injured never step an step up but get paid the same as Salah and Mane. Why won't you love it.. Why wont you get married in a beach in the holiday and laugh all the way to the bank. I thought we were meant to reward ability. Anyways Ponzi schemes always comes down eventually… We will see once Mo leaves if thats true.. He just has to play from until August to October then put his feet up and go watch World cup and mingle in Qatar… Come jan , he will be signed up by smone else. Maybe they dont like giving Brown and Black players , Arabs from small towns big salaries. The club is telling him take it we made you. You were a no body. I couldn't possibly comment

  4. So I've been watching quite a few Nunez highlight videos and I'm not just saying this because he's Uruguayan, but I can't help but see simlariaties to Cavani. He just looks absolutely clinical and I can't wait to see him in a reds shirt!

  5. I think one of the biggest things is that Liverpool will change to a 4-2-3-1. Diaz on the left playing more a LM, Salah on the right will be able to make his runs into the box the same. and a genuine 10 in behind, like Firmino/Jota/Elliott/Carvalho, Going back to the Liverpool 2008/09 team. Fabinho playing the Mascherano role, Thiago playing the Alonso role. Salah playing a bit like Kuyt, not in terms of work rate but more like a second striker at times getting into the box late and doing what Salah does. the 10 like Gerrard used to play (hopefully Bellingham can come in next season and add to that) and Diaz playing like Reus did in Klopps team. Nunez will be molded by Klopp as a 9 up top. pressing like Torres, running the channels, linking with the 10, and getting into the box for goals like Torres did at Liverpool and Lewandowski did under Klopp. People forget that when Klopp came into Liverpool he did play 4-2-3-1, but didn't trust Origi, Benteke, Sturridge to be the main man to build around. at Dortmund in a 4-2-3-1 he had Sven Bender as the right cdm and Gundogan as the left cdm but Gundogan was given the license to be more of a box to box similar to Alonso for Liverpool. then LM was Reus, CAM was Gotze and RM was Blaszczykowski, with Lewandowski up front. It was kind of similar to the Liverpool team of 08/09, but Klopp is more progressive manager than Benitez, but I think he will go back to that this season.

  6. Players can be world class in other leagues. But it's how they fare playing the likes of west ham away on a cold winter Tuesday night freezing their balls off. That's where we see if they have what it takes.

  7. Guy from Rabona TV (who is a Benfica fan) has said Nunez is very responsive to coach feedback and willing to learn, so I can fully imagine Klopp will be able to refine his game, cut out the wastefulness and probably get him driving more towards the centre to accommodate for Diaz

  8. I have no problem with him taking shots from outside the area we don't have enough of that in this squad especially against teams who just put 11 men behind the ball in those deep blocks

  9. He’s not a passer; he’s a goal scorer. That’s what we’ve been lacking when Salah is struggling. Mane & Jota combined for about 30 goals last year, while Darwin scored +4 on that. I think Darwin will score mid teens (13-16) goals next season at a minimum, which will easily offset what we’re losing in Mane. LFC/Nunez future is bright as the sun IF he &squad can avoid injuries!

  10. I think we be fine. Elliot will step up, Jones can step up, carvalho, we have plenty of cover. Don't need numbers for sake of it better getting the player we actually want n wait for him… Bellingham. Bradley is also long term gonna be a midfielder. We have plenty enough in midfield for next season, Morton can get minutes. Elliot, keita, Jones, millie, as alternative to the first 3 midfielder choices. + Morton n carvalho, who will cover att too, as Elliot could, Gordon will be involved. Fsg have made mistakes. But let's be honest…they are better owners than most in prem, look at stadium, our debts ain't mounting and they don't take fortune out of club, look at glazers for instance. I'm more than happy with Nunez, carvalho n Ramsey. Next summer, get top midfielder who is a starter.. Bellingham for instance. Don't need another squad player, good kids coming through who can take up the odd minutes. YNWA

  11. One thing we should should also look into is the team and the league the players were playing in in those 2 years. Mane and Jota both were putting up those numbers in the premier league whereas the other 3 players were playing in ‘lesser’ leagues. Also jota and Mane were putting up those numbers in lower to mid table teams, whereas the others were playing in dominant teams in their respective leagues during that period

  12. If we extend Bobby's deal 1 year at a time like Milner we got nothing to worry about. Nunez is gonna learn from the best. We will give him time, Klopp will start the season with Jota playing the 9.

  13. Mach starts this video with a horrendous take, talking about how letting world class players go lessens your squad quality unless you sign world class back. Thats a highschoolers take at best, because sadio demanded wages beyond our wage structure, and any player of manes quality would want similar to move, or a MASSIVE fee that liverpool cant afford, Nunez is a belter of a signing, and sadio had already been replaced at left wing by dias anyway

  14. I just hope Nunez is given a bit of time to settle in. Coming to a much harder league and a big transfer fee can bring too much expectation among fans wanting instant success.

He looks very good from what I've seen and he could become one of the best strikers in world football with the right guidance. He's at the right club to develop his game to another level. Hopefully our fans show a bit of patience with him but it wouldn't surprise me if he starts banging goals in in the first few games.

  15. Liverpool Fans should be v v v v very excited ….
    1) Liverpool should have plenty of time to sign Right midfield/strike replacement after the World cup shows up the stars during the January window
    2) Fab back up is already there if Liverpool want to try him in DM (Matip has worked the DM in his previous club and he is the better passer of the
ball) obviously Liverpool may get the PSV DM or wait for an up and coming start from the world cup
    3) Keita has had his best season for Liverpool this season and has been available for the most minutes of the games compared to past seasons. He
has potential to go on further if he has a similar season to this year.
    4) If Ramsay turns out better at Right Back Can anyone see TAA being pushed forward to Right attacking Midfield then I can see a mega transistion
to creativity in the Midfield Seriously I am waiting for TAA moving into midfield and continuing into to the best English player since Gerrard
    probably !!
