  1. As a gunner I want Liverpool to out do city to win the league, lets be honest as arsenal supporters I have to admit our jealousy of what efficient and decisive owners and managers does. We are shambles from top to bottom and I don't see us no where near coming back to the glory days. The owners has no ambition for this club so let's stop Keeping our hopes up.

  2. Terry u talking rubbish lad, Liverpool won't go buying ready made stars for 100 mil all the time now, they l do what's been successful and we don't need you to tell us that at times you have to pay big money , and we've bought players in Jota , Konate and Diaz who are all hits , so now we've paid 70 mil or whatever it is but how is that a reason to be bantered? It,s not it,s quick business done and dusted that didn't start this week , we been talking to him all year. MAN Utd didn't have a chance. YNWA

  3. You’ve been reported as you’re poncing subscriptions based on lies! Taking advantage of mostly young vulnerable fans!
    You’re a disgrace!

  4. The thing with Darwin Nunez if he becomes a big success he will be massive as he is actually a very good looking guy so very marketable internationally.
Unlike our other attacking stars none of them really good looking.
Could be the next Ronaldo in regards to marketing ability as he is good looking guy this deal is a freaking no brainer if a success ? Liverpool get it done.

  5. As an Arsenal fan I was initially frustrated with this because we seemed to be in for the guy, but I have to ask myself if we were ever really in the conversation. At Liverpool he will win things, probably next season. For Arsenal, it is fine setting targets like Vlahovic, but if Nunez was plan B, then who is plan C? And who is the real plan A player for our level… because let’s be honest, Vlahovic and Nunez were never coming to Arsenal. Excited for transfers, just wish were weren’t linked to every player that ends up at the elite teams every summer.

  6. For me Terry even as a United fan you are the person I listen to the most. You talk absolute sense an completely unbiased. I’m a Liverpool fan and I watch you over anyone else. Robbie aftv second but can stand some of the guys on AFTV.

  7. What's happening is before liverpool needed multiple signings so had to be 30 40… Now the core of the team is so strong and young that only 1 or 2 signings needed to just refresh positions so now they can spend after 5 successful seasons in Europe and domestically they now make lots of money

I wonder if some Liverpool fans actually think. Every club has their collection of simpletons. Rival fans jibing at anything is always social media norm now. But Liverpool fans complaining without thinking?

Fact is Mane wants to go. Salah is tempted by Barcelona and likely to go for free by next summer. Key players in midfield and front line are aging. Liverpool is clearly exiting Origi, Taki, Ox, etc. The transfer market for high profile young promising players in any position comes now with a crazy premium ABOVE PAST VALUATION. Of course it is a financial risk but that is what each club’s scouting team tries to do in weighing options. Should one expect Liverpool to hold a tight cap and say no to every promising potential striker? Or should Liverpool only buy raw undiscovered “gems” hence low risk? Who is identified as a suitable player, what Klopp wants, which player their club is willing to sell and which player wants to join Liverpool are part of the dynamics. and yet fans want them to be always available for cheap? Liverpool already sewn up Carvalho on the cheap. Possibly Calvin Ramsay. These are under 10 million. So some Liverpool fans and all rival fans want Liverpool to only beef up with such undiscovered gems? With aging / exiting frontline Liverpool has to be proactive. The slanted logic of so called neutral analysts or a few duff Liverpool fans get me hilarious. Do these fans want Liverpool to pay $100 million for overaged so called established striker like Ronaldo, Messi, or Kane and then it is good valuation? Do they think Firminio, Diaz and Jota suffice in the modern game? Or should Liverpool wait till next summer when most of the frontline are gone and then try to buy on desperation to delight of rivals?

Liverpool’s economics always has been you need to sell in order to buy with some top up. Liverpool fans should be happy if FSG and Klopp are committed to seriously rebuild instead of whining this and that, and complaining later about lack of next generation after Mane and Salah left when performance dip owing to lack of depth. Seriously these Liverpool fans need to wake up to new reality of modern football transfer market. Premiums are needed on the few highly sought after players. The club has to decide you want them or not. Of course rival fans will be happy to take a dig at anything the opposition does.

Which big money transfer is not a project risk? Look at Coutinho to Barcelona, Neymar to PSG, Grealish to Man C (just to be a bench warmer), Lukaku to Chelsea, and Maguire and Pogba (twice) to Man U. Whether they are deemed good for valuation or they are part of a tactical reshuffle or adds depth to squad for impact play, they are still player projects and not a simple pass or fail, worth or not worth it. Better a club has a mixed investment ethos in players, willing to plan and act than a clueless one that is afraid to spend or invest or act. If a project fails, move on. Suck up the banter. Not acting is the worst.

If you are a rival fan, make any noise you want. But if you are a Liverpool fan, wise up to reality of modern football.
