5. This game was setup to lower expectations for next year. At the beginning of this year there were high expectations for the year. That is all gone. Now everyone knows that a complete rebuild is necessary. A four year plan is necessary and it always has since sir Alex left. But fans would not accept that in the past. That sure has changed.

I mean it's clear they made mistakes the recruiting was awful in the last 10 years but now they are clearly trying to correct their mistakes appointing Ten Hag as manager and they spent a lot of money for the players in the last years maybe on the wrong players but they did. So I think now the best thing to do is support the team and see what happens with Ten Hag. if he will not be able to get rid of players like Maguire we will know he wasn't given the power and freedom he needs and at that point it will be useful and necessary to protest but not now also considering they're trying (or at least a few of them) to reach 4th place in the league.
