  1. The winning of that game was getting Jones off the pitch. Be easy, very very easy to rubbish him and the kindest thing you can say is it's not working. Klopp obviously sees potential but it looks like he's overawed. His contributions are woeful. He can't pass, wrongly weighted, hospital passes, slow thinking, dithering, when he lines up a shot you can see a mile off its going into row z. If he'd stayed on the game would have ended 0-0. Total momentum killer.

  2. Honestly Diaz couldn't have had a better start to his Liverpool career under Klopp. What does Klopp value most? Relentless pressing, never giving up, and in his first game Diaz did just that, he NEVER gave up on getting that ball back from the Cardiff player and then ended up getting an assist out of it. Klopp is going to LOVE Diaz. Diaz is going to LOVE Klopp.

Finally we have proper substitutes for our front 3 with Diaz, Firmino & Elliott. No longer will the talent drop off be like going from Champion's League to Championship.

  3. Minamino
has more goals this season than:
Sancho, Rashford, Martial, Pulisic, Ziyech and Grealish

7 goals from a guy who's basically 7th choice when everyone is fit, not too bad for a 7m bargain buy!

  4. Minamino played a Wonderful decoy for the Opening Goal , for a forward who needs to prove his place in the team.. He took himself out of any scoring opportunity. Disrupting the minds of the Cardiff side of his odd placement during the cross.. Wonderful…
